**Crane Helper**

Springhill Lumber (Wholesale) Ltd. is looking for a **Crane Helper**. This position is full time from Monday to Friday with some overtime as required.

**Rate of Pay**:$18.00 to $21.00** per hour (Depending on Experience)

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Ensure orders are loaded, unloaded and accurately filled, counted and secured following all safe work requirements;
- Loading and unloading various building materials (roof top shingles, drywall, siding, and lumber, etc.);
- Ability to work comfortably at various heights following all safe work requirements;
- Be professional, courteous, and punctual with a focus on customer service;
- Other duties as required.

**Requirements & Qualifications**:

- Hold a valid Class 5(F) driver’s licence;
- Obtain and hold a Driver’s Abstract (must be current within 3 months);
- Fall Protection Certification;
- Ability to do physical labour including lifting, carrying (over 50 Lbs.), bending repeatedly on a daily basis;
- Must be a team player, friendly, reliable, and organized;
- Forklift Licence desired (but not required); and
- Ability to perform at a high level in a fast paced, demanding working environment.

**Working Conditions**:

- Exposure to dust and extreme changes in temperature and weather when working outside year around.
- Safety boots and safety equipment are required.
- Busy, high volume environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
