At **Bravo Target Safety** our priority is to get all workers home safely every day. We provide safety coordination, project planning and trained safety personnel for turn-around, construction, drilling and day-to-day field operations.

Bravo Target Safety is looking for career-minded **Operations Shop Technician** to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to begin or advance your career within Bravo Target Safety.

**Job Duties**:

- Comply with Company Rules, Requirements, Roles & Responsibilities
- Ensure that the Corporate Mission, Vision, and Values are part of the decision-making process
- Promotes and supports all elements of the Company Health and Safety Program
- Demonstrates leadership at all times, in all aspects, in their role of responsibility
- Continually strives to improve employee engagement
- Holds applicable equipment end user certification (e.g. Jordair Compressor Level 1)
- Understands proper use and limitations of applicable equipment.
- Follows all guidelines and preventative maintenance schedules outlined by BTS and the manufacturer
- Performs and participates in the following: Facility Audits, Toolbox Meetings and ERP Drills
- Demonstrates competency in documentation filing
- Demonstrates SDS Product Knowledge
- Follows all Safe work practices outlined and applies the suitable PPE for specific task
- Demonstrates competency while filling cylinders and basic compressor maintenance and operation (Fill Station and Trailer)
- Responsible for the upkeep, maintenance, and repairs to all rolling stock (within one’s capabilities based on training)
- Work with the Fleet Coordinator to book maintenance appointments at applicable vendors
- Maintain PPE and Consumable inventory at the branch level for shop supplies
- General upkeep of shop, and housekeeping duties
- Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Be fit for duty daily
- Comply with all of Bravo Target Safety’s and/or Clients rules and expectations
- Proven track record of exceptional customer service
- Demonstrate leadership in all aspects of the job
- Must have strong written and communication skills
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Must be able to react appropriately in stressful situations
- Be physically fit to accommodate job demands
- Must be computer proficient with the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work away from home for extended periods of time, work long hours and be able to work both day and night shift
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to pass Drug and Alcohol testing
- Clean Class 5 Driver’s License
- Standard First Aid with CPR/AED Level A or C
- Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
- H2S Alive
- Achieve and maintain an overall compliance of 100% with our online training system

**Preference given to those with Safety Equipment Experience in**:

- SCOTT Breathing Air Equipment, Respirators, and Airlines
- Industrial Scientific Gas Detection Equipment
- Jordair Compressor Systems
- MSA Gas Detection Equipment
- Rae Systems Gas Detection Equipment
- Fall Arrest Equipment
- Quantitative Fit Testing

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- SCOTT Breathing Air Equipment, Respirators, and Airlines: 1 year (preferred)
- Industrial Scientific Gas Detection Equipment: 1 year (preferred)
- Jordair Compressor Systems: 1 year (preferred)
- MSA Gas Detection Equipment: 1 year (preferred)
- Rae Systems Gas Detection Equipment: 1 year (preferred)
- Fall Arrest Equipment: 1 year (preferred)
- Quantitative Fit Testing: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Standard First Aid CPR / AED Level A or C (or equivalent) (preferred)
- H2S Alive (preferred)
- Common Safety Orientation (CSO) (preferred)
- Drivers License (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 75% (preferred)
