**What you will do**:

- Assemble all signage efficiently to Pride Signs quality standards by thorough job review, set up, equipment selection and workflow. Never allow a sub-standard product to leave the shop.
- Focus on effective set up and flow to maximize efficiency and minimize material handling.
- Read and interpret assembly drawings, work order instructions and procedure manuals
- Fit and assemble components to meet production requirements
- Understand the sequence of the assembly build
- Determine the correct equipment and methods to obtain the most efficient results
- Provide support to engineering regarding efficient design, estimation of assembly time, required materials and equipment.
- Requires the use of hand/powered tools, fixtures, parts, sub-assemblies, and operation of overhead crane.
- Direct others, as required, depending on complexity of assembly
- Communicate with engineering department for labour estimates, work order and quality issues.
- Ensure final inspection is complete prior to leaving the department.
- Participate in Kaizen activities

**What we need**:

- Minimum 2 years’ manufacturing experience
- Minimum High School
- Experience or formal education in custom fabrication, or comparable industry, eg; sheet metal,equipment builder, mechanical or industrial engineering
- Critical thinking and eye for detail
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English, and use imperial measuring system
- Ability to read, understand and interpret engineered drawings
- Exposure to various power and hand tools is required.
- Team oriented with the ability to work with others in a multi-cultural environment.

Steady Shift

Day Shift 4:00 pm - 3:30 am Monday-Thursday
