**Job Title: Vice President - Technology (E-commerce)**

**Experience: 10 yrs**

**Location: Calgary, Alberta (100%-On-site)**

**Reports to: Chief Technology Officer / Chief Executive Officer**

**Responsibilities**:
**About the Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Strategic Leadership**:

- Define and drive the long-term technology vision for the e-commerce ecosystem.
- Align e-commerce technology roadmap with business goals, marketing initiatives, and customer experience objectives.
- **Website Oversight**:

- Lead the development, maintenance, and optimization of 7-8 e-commerce websites.
- Ensure all websites are highly available, scalable, secure, and deliver optimal performance.
- Oversee design implementation, A/B testing, personalization strategies, and UI/UX best practices.
- **Team Management**:

- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing cross-functional teams including developers, QA, DevOps, and product managers.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Operations to deliver integrated experiences.
- **Technology Stack & Architecture**:

- Oversee architectural decisions, third-party integrations, CMS, APIs, and front-end/back-end technologies.
- Champion best practices in coding, testing, deployment, and version control.
- **Innovation & Optimization**:

- Drive innovation through emerging tech (AI/ML, personalization, search optimization, etc.).
- Implement performance monitoring tools, analytics, and automation to continuously optimize websites.
- **Budget & Vendor Management**:

- Manage technology budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships.
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts with technology providers and development partners.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- **Minimum 10 years of experience in technology leadership, with at least 5 years in e-commerce.**:

- Proven experience managing multiple e-commerce websites for a major brand.
- **Deep knowledge of platforms like Shopify Plus, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or custom stacks**.
- **Strong understanding of DevOps, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure), CI/CD pipelines, and web performance tools.**:

- **Solid grasp of SEO, analytics, digital marketing tech integrations, and customer journey mapping.**:

- Demonstrated ability to manage large, distributed teams and complex digital projects.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Pay: Up to $160,047.09 per year
