OVERVIEW

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
- Post-secondary education in Communications, Marketing or Public Relations
- Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience
- Experience using WordPress, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- Knowledge and understanding of Social Media platforms and their respective participants and how each platform can be used in different scenarios (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram and Tik Tok etc.)
- Graphic design experience
- Experience managing and updating website content with a content management system
- Ability to organize and write clear, concise and compelling copy for multiple publications and marketing channels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to adapt various writing styles and guidelines
- Video/ photograph shooting, and editing would be an asset
- Previous use of Salesforce or other CRM’s is an asset
- Sound judgment and ability to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines
- Self-starter with the ability to self-motivate
- Proven time management skills with attention to detail in past projects
- A positive attitude and a great team player

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure website is regularly maintained with accurate and timely updates and perform search engine optimization activities
- Manage social media platforms to drive community engagement, awareness and traffic
- Salesforce administration and updates
- Develop and create marketing and communication materials for both internal and external purposes. This includes sale sheets, signs, trade shows, banners
- Spearhead digital marketing campaigns
- Ensure strong communication is upheld internally and externally and ensuring information is being provided in a timely manner
- Collaborate and maintain positive relationships with marketing and promotional vendors
- Tracking, distributing and ordering promotional/milestone items
- Creating new templates for overall company use
- Answering and redirecting website business inquires
- Press releases and new distribution
- Creating investor relations material including presentations and press releases

LOCATION
- This position will be based out of our Sherwood Park, Alberta location.
