**Key responsibilities of Pharmacy Assistant involve**:

- Patient greeting and confirmation of accuracy of all pertinent prescription information prior to filling,
- Data entry of patient care information into Kroll,
- Third party adjudication,
- Accurate filling of prescription medications,
- Blister/Compliance Packaging
- Maintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems,
- General OTC inquiries from patients and referral to Pharmacist where required and necessary,
- Handling customer prescription pick up,
- Order receiving and sending
- Cashier responsibilities as required in the dispensary

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant is an asset
- Experience with Kroll is an asset;
- Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation;
- Strong teamwork ability;
- Ability to adapt in a fast paced environment;
- Customer service experience;
- Exceptional communication skills;
- Proficient computer/data/entry skills.

WORK HOURS:
Flex schedule - mainly weekdays and some weekends (16-24 hours/week)

Schedule:

- 6 - 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Pharmacy: 1 year (required)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
