**Lakeridge Heights Retirement Residence**, is seeking **Health and Wellness Director** (Recreation/Activities) to join our team.

**(Maternity Leave Coverage)**

The Health and Wellness Director provides a comprehensive activity program for the benefit of each resident on a continuing basis. In this role you will be required to plan, direct, and coordinate the necessary activities for the activation of the Health & Wellness program within the residence.

**Requirements**:

- Must have diploma/certification in recreational therapy
- Diploma in recreation/leisure studies.
- Course(s) in Gerontology and Activities/Recreation are desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must have experience working in a retirement residence with both Independent and Assisted Living/Memory Care residents
- Knowledge of program development is an asset.
- First Aid Certification is an asset
- Class 4 Driver’s License an asset
- Received at least two (2) doses of a Health Canada approved Covid-19 vaccine.

**Experience**:

- Retirement home: 1 year (preferred)
