Front Desk Agent

The Quality Inn Quesnel is currently seeking a Front Desk Agent to join our team for a variety of shifts, both weekdays and weekends. Reporting to the Assistant General Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Welcome and acknowledge each and every guest with a smile, eye contact and a friendly verbal greeting
- Performs all audit procedures set by the Quality Inn
- Performs a variety of duties to ensure all current days sales balance and payments have been properly processed
- Balance cash transactions, receipts, and work performed
- Ensure all charges and taxes are correctly posted
- Handle cash, debit and credit transactions
- Check-in and check-out guests of the Hotel
- Respond to guests needs upon request.
- Provide guests general local knowledge, hotel facilities, and services
- Balance all revenue departments on a daily basis and complete reports.
**Requirements**:
- Ability to work Weekend Shift. 8 Hours shifts (7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm,11pm-7am)
- Proficient computer skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills when dealing with guests and associates
- Demonstrates good mathematical skills and working knowledge of accounting principals
- Front Desk or Night Audit experience an asset
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision

**Salary**: $16.25-16.50 /hour
