**_Purpose of the position_**

The position will:

- Provide complaint response, conduct investigations, and initiate enforcement action.
- Provide public education, positive community engagement, and interact with residents, visitors, and a variety of partners.
- Maintain liaison with other local, provincial, and federal enforcement agencies, community groups, and emergency response agencies.

- Be eligible for appointment as a Community Peace Officer I in accordance with the Peace Officer Act and its Regulations.
- Be well-developed in public relations skills.
- Have computer skills to work with a variety of computer programs.

Competition Number: 11-CPO-24

Salary Range: $82,284.80 - $105,601.60
- Plus 3wks vacation and generous medical/personal days
