**Overview**
Leith Wheeler Investment Counsel Ltd. is an employee-owned firm, headquartered in Vancouver with offices in Calgary and Toronto. We manage over $30 billion of assets on behalf of pension, foundation, corporate, Aboriginal, and individual clients across Canada.

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual, passionate about financial services, experienced in securities settlements and investment management back-office administration for the Trade Operations Specialist role.
- Posting and settlement of all trades (Equities, Fixed Income and Derivatives) in an accurate and efficient manner
- Communicating trade details with Brokers and Trust companies
- Ensuring security information and rates (equity pricing, dividends, interest accruals/payments, MBS payments, futures contracts, exchange rates, etc.) are accurately downloaded/recorded
- Assisting in the implementation of various projects
- Maintaining organized records and files

**Qualification and Experience**:

- At least 2 years’ experience with settlement of securities
- High level of proficiency with MS Office and Bloomberg
- Completion of the Canadian Securities Course is an asset
- Excellent communication skills: Ability to liaise effectively with Trust company personnel, brokers, internal traders/administrators
- Ability to perform with high level of accuracy and attention to detail even under pressure
- Ability to problem solve quickly and efficiently

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
