Lead Carpenter

**Job Summary**:
We are not looking for helpers — we want **professionals who can lead or run their own job site.** You must have your own tools, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work unsupervised when needed.

**Responsibilities**:

- Build custom **decks, fences, railings, and wood structures** with precision
- Perform accurate **wood framing and structural layout**:

- Install **finish carpentry elements** (stairs, trim, fascia, railing systems)
- Read and follow **blueprints, drawings, and site plans**:

- Operate and maintain **hand and power tools** safely
- Ensure all work complies with **building codes and site safety** standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Work independently or with a crew to complete projects on time
- Communicate effectively with project leads and clients
- Perform basic material calculations and report shortages/issues

**Qualifications**:

- **Minimum 3-5 years** of carpentry experience is **required**:

- Proven skill in **deck building, fencing, framing, and finish carpentry**:

- **Must own your own tools** (both hand tools and power tools)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various weather
- Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings
- Strong understanding of **materials, methods, and construction codes**:

- Attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality craftsmanship
- Must have **reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license**:

- Strong work ethic, good attitude, and ability to follow instructions
- You don’t have at least 3 years of carpentry experience
- You don't own your own tools
- You require constant supervision to complete a task

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: $250.00-$350.00 per day
