As a Pharmacy Technician I, you will be responsible for the preparation and distribution of pharmaceutical products. You will receive and triage medication orders, compound and repackage medication and prepare sterile and non-sterile pharmaceutical products.

**Required Qualifications**:
Completion of a CCAPP-accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP) as a Pharmacy Technician.
**Additional Required Qualifications**:
2 Years Regulated Pharmacy Technician with Alberta College of Pharmacists. Previous Hospital Pharmacy in rural, remote locations in North Zone is an asset. Demonstrate proficiency in the following: communication (verbal and written), interpersonal abilities, organizational and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and in teams as required, computer skills, continual personal quality improvement and lifelong learning. Must be in good physical condition as majority of shift involves typing, static positions, visual acuity, heavy lifting and grip strength, twisting, standing, crouching, bending, pushing, pulling, kneeling, walking and standing for extended periods of time. Demonstration of reliability required of essential work in healthcare.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
EPIC & EPIC Inventory experience, acute & ltc, barcoding, compounding & repackaging, dispensing functionality, medication transfers - ordering - receiving, monitoring - par & opti - medication recalls - medication backorders. Repackaging Equipment Experience - Cold Seal. Preceptor for Technician Student Learning Rotations. Clinically Deployed Experience - BPMH/Med Review Trained. 2 Years Regulated Pharmacy Technician with Alberta College of Pharmacists.
