Strategic Finance Lead

Air is the first Creative Ops platform: a system of record for creative teams. Our product automates the mindless tasks that creatives and marketers do every day to manage content, unlocking creativity through image recognition, automated versioning, and approval workflows. Air launched in March 2021 and is backed by world-class venture capital firms including Tiger Global, Headline Ventures, Lerer Hippeau, WndrCo, and Slack Ventures.

**This is a hybrid role requiring in-office attendance at least 3 days/week.**

**What you will do**:
We are hiring our founding member of the Strategic Finance team to help us build towards the next phase of growth. This person will reportedly directly to the Head of Finance and work directly with our co-founders across various strategic initiatives. This is a high visibility role and provides the opportunity to gain broad exposure to [xxx]

Key responsibilities of the role day to day will include:

- **Own the operating model**: build and maintain a comprehensive financial and operating models for the entire company. Track, analyze, and forecast key business/financial KPIs with aim of uncovering trends and assessing current/future business risks and opportunities
- **Drive strategic decision-making**: develop ROI evaluation frameworks and lead ad-hoc strategic analyses / business cases to influence operational and investment decisions.
- **Manage financial reporting**: prepare ongoing management and investor reporting, including materials for Board of Directors meetings
- **Support critical operations**: facilitate deal negotiations with vendors, partners or customers, including pricing and financial analysis.

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of strategic finance, FP&A, biz ops, consulting, investment banking, or private equity / venture capital experience required.
- Direct experience at a high-growth tech company with strong understanding of key drivers of a SaaS business is strongly preferred.
- Superior communication skills and experience partnering with all levels of an organization.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to details.
- Experience with databases, SQL and BI tools a plus.

The compensation range for this role is CAD $140,000 to $210,000.
