Director of Dietary Services

North Queens Nursing Home is a 44-bed Long Term Care Facility located in Caledonia, Nova Scotia. Caledonia is a rural community of Queens County, close to Kejimkujik National Park and in close proximity to both the South Shore and Annapolis Valley. North Queens Nursing Home considers the needs of our residents as a whole, considering their social, emotional, spiritual and physical well-being.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor of Science degree, with a major in Nutrition

2. Completion of a Dietetic Internship

3. Current registration with the Nova Scotia College of Dietitians and Nutritionists (NSCDN)

4. 2 years previous management experience

5. Previous experience in long term care an asset

6. Demonstrated commitment to resident centred care

7. Excellent communication skills with residents, families and other team members

8. Ability and confidence to take a leadership role

10.Regular attendance in current and previous employment

Rate: based on Department of Seniors/Long Term Care funding, with competitive benefits
