Early Childhood Educators work in a dynamic team environment. They work with children between the ages of 0 -5 to provide a caring and stimulating environment which promotes intellectual, physical and emotional growth. At BACI Early Childhood Educators ensure inclusion for all the children at the centre as they plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for the children.

**Position: Regular FT Early Childhood Educator**

**Location: Fair Haven 4375 Rumble Street Burnaby BC**

**Salary: Step 1 - $ 22.00; Step 2 - $24.50 (Including wage enhancement)**

**Hours: 37.5 hours per week Schedule: Monday - Friday as per schedule
Skills and Knowledge:
Practical experience working with children requiring additional support in inclusive settings. Practical experience working with children 0-5 years. Understanding and commitment to the principles of inclusion. Ability to develop rapport with families and children including respectful and non-judgmental interactions. Good written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work with families, professionals and staff. Ability to understand and follow procedure. Computer skills required.

Qualifications:
Early Childhood Education and Infant Toddler Certificate required, Special Needs Certificate preferred. First Aid, CPR, and TB test clearance required. Immunizations and up to date COVID-19 Vaccination.
