To ensure smooth daily operation of the Bistro;
To create a comfortable environment for guests;
To sell and promote the products sold in the Bistro
To ensure standards is respected in regard to food safe and product rotation

T**asks & Responsibilities**:

- Following operational procedures and policies for customer service, cash handling and coffee service.
- Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks such as teas, iced drinks, specialty coffees like espressos, cappuccino, café latte including art latte technique.
- Prep work for beverages and food related products
- Inventory checks and restocking
- Cleaning and maintaining equipment
- Cleaning tables and counters
- Washing dishes
- Sweeping and mopping
- Garbage and recycling maintenance
- Provide prompt and courteous service to all customers.
- Maintain the orderly and clean environment of the Bistro
- Ensure inventory stocks of Bistro area are replenished and ordered
- All other tasks requested of you for the smooth and efficient function of the Scandinave Whistler

P**rerequisites**:

- At least 1-year work experience as a Barista
- Must be able to work overtime, including weekends, evenings and special events as needed.
- Well-organized and detail-oriented and able to multi-task.
- This position will require frequent standing and use of hands and arms.
- Must be able to lift up to 30lbs and frequently bend and twist from the waist.
- Hands-on experience with professional coffee machines
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
- Must have valid food safe certification
- Clear criminal record check
