**The Position Will...**
- Provide hands-on training, direction, and support to employees, Supervisors, Chefs, Managers & Food Service Directors; to uphold and model the highest level of hospitality and food service
- Provide feedback and coaching to all employees, Supervisors, Chefs, Managers and Food Service Directors regarding Dana Hospitality and franchise standards, as well as client expectations
- Work with the operations team to ensure adherence to franchise and Dana standards, implementing promotions and marketing, financial reporting and requirements, and established employee management protocols
- Collaborate with Managers on growth and development of assigned units, highlighting areas of strength and improvement opportunities
- Provide on-going support to client initiatives, conduct meetings and presentations as required
- Assist in the collection, review, and reporting of franchise operation financials
- Provide hands-on assistance in operations when required to improve efficiencies and processes
- Assist in the implementation of new programs or policies, communicating with the necessary parties

This position reports to the Director of Operations and will be stationed at one of our premium Higher Education locations but is also a field based position with frequent travel required to support other locations in the district as required.

**The competencies and qualifications needed...**
- Post secondary education in Hospitality or Institutional Management or Hotel and Restaurant Management
- Minimum 5 - 7 years, recent, related, experience leading a high volume, food service team, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience (extensive knowledge of culinary operations)
- Experience managing Tim Horton’s, Starbucks or other Franchise outlets required
- Strong knowledge of catering programs and training teams for high-level events
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to demonstrate a strong financial acumen; to create budgets, manage margins and create action plans to achieve desired goals in a proactive manner
- Ability to respond to client needs in a timely manner; to work with each client to achieve their unique goals
- Possess a strong commitment to customer service through the development and maintenance of effective business relationships
- Strong understanding of marketing and social media programs used to support culinary programs and to delight customers
- Ability to multi-task and problem solving in a professional manner
- Strong understanding of and commitment to physical safety and food safety programs
- Ability to support and build strong teams and to provide clear communication at all times
- Problem solving and analytical skills with a strong focus on commitment and quality
- Able to multi-task and set priorities
