We are looking for several key individuals with backgrounds working in the coastal, maritime and riverine environments. With strong technical experience in costal and river flooding and assessment, restoration, planning and engineering; who are commercially astute, and comfortable dealing at all levels within a client organization. As a **River and Maritime Technical **Leader **you will help lead projects and business development efforts in **Vancouver, Calgary, (Western Canada) and support efforts in Seattle, Tacoma or Portland (Northwest Region) **. This is a rewarding opportunity to demonstrate your local knowledge and be involved in challenging projects that will offer an opportunity to provide technical solutions as a trusted expert.

**Responsibilities**:
- Lead technical and multi-discipline teams on river and maritime engineering projects
- Oversee project efforts for hydrographic and topographic surveying; hydrodynamic modelling, analysis/investigations; data processing; conceptual and feasibility studies; environmental permitting; design, development of construction plans and specifications; and report writing
- Plan and implement field work in a river, coastal & marine environment to include restoration, dredging, flood protection, shoreline infrastructure, and coastal processes
- Understand the maritime market such as trends, client spending, assets, resiliency and logistics
- Prepare routine correspondence, data reports, standardized documents and work plans for internal and client review
- Oversight of contractors and field staff
**Skills, Competencies, Qualifications**:
- B.Sc. degree in Engineering
- Professional engineering designation
- 20 plus years of previous experience with ports and navigation projects is required
- Ability to perform field work and travel as needed
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
