As we continue to expand, we are seeking a versatile IT Technician to join our team and help address the diverse I.T. needs of our growing client base.
**JOB OVERVIEW**
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide on-site and remote technical support for clients using Windows, Linux, and Apple Mac OS systems
- Install, configure, and maintain network devices (firewalls, switches, routers)
- Manage backup systems and ensure data integrity
- Set up, manage, and troubleshoot virtualized environments using hypervisors (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Resolve hardware and software issues across different operating systems
- Perform routine maintenance and updates to ensure system security and stability
- Respond to customer inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with senior staff to design and implement new systems and services
- Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- 3+ years of experience in IT support or a similar role
- Proficiency in managing Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Linux, and Apple Mac OS environments
- Experience with network administration and troubleshooting (firewalls, switches, routers)
- Knowledge of backup systems and hypervisors (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Must be fluent in English; fluency in Spanish is an asset
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Must live in the Greater Vancouver area and be legally allowed to work for an employer in Canada
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, Apple Certified Support Professional) are an asset but not required

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
