Simon’s Specialty Foods, a wholesale bakery serving local and provincial customers, is hiring a **Material Handler / Warehouse Associate** to support our Packing & Shipping team. This is a **physically demanding warehouse role** that requires frequent lifting, freezer work, and the ability to keep pace in a fast-moving food production environment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Load/unload trucks, move materials, and build pallets
- Pull and stack orders using an **order picker** (up to 15 ft)
- Restock cooler and freezer as required
- Assist packing team with box prep, labeling, and wrapping
- Maintain accuracy in shipping/receiving paperwork, lot numbers, and inventory control
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment (training provided if needed)
- Keep warehouse and work areas clean and safe

**Secondary Tasks**
- Assist with end-of-day **machine assembly and cleaning**:

- Daily garbage and waste removal
- General warehouse cleanup as required

**Requirements**:

- Strong physical condition with ability to lift **up to 22 kg (50 lbs) repeatedly**:

- Comfortable working in freezer conditions (-20°C)
- Must provide your own **work gloves** and wear CSA-approved safety boots
- English proficiency (spoken and written)
- Ability to follow instructions, multitask, and work well with others
- Forklift/order picker experience an asset (or willing to be trained by employer)
- Must be able to handle beef and pork products
