**NEW LOCATION - Yorkville, Toronto**

We're looking for passionate and enthusiastic people to join our team that take pride in exceptional customer service as _**Retail Sales Associates.**_
- **Day Time Shift - Monday to Friday: Full time and Part time positions**_
- **Evening Shift - Monday to Friday: Part time**_

Carlo’s Bakery is world renowned for making beautiful and interesting cakes, pastries, and desserts. Carlo’s Bakery has set high quality standards and through the TV appearances of Buddy Valastro has been able to set an extremely high expectation for customers.
- **Key Responsibilities**_
- Greet customers as they arrive and assist customers with purchase of items
- Serve customers politely, efficiently and with a great attitude
- Process cash and credit card transactions
- Prepare and serve coffee orders, ice cream, and bakery and ready-to-go items
- Maintaining high standard of cleanliness throughout the bakery
- Ensure that proper food safety guidelines are followed
- Ensures that the quality of products meets established standards
- **Education/Experience**_
- Minimum 1 year of customer service/cashier experience
- Food handler and food safety training, preferred
- **Knowledge/Skills**_
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge of cake, pastries, cookies and coffees
- Ability to manage multiple work tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional customer service skills with a talent for building customer loyalty
- Serve as a strong Carlo’s Bakery Brand Ambassador
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal communication and listening skills
- Willingness to work with other team members to solve problems, fulfill orders and create exceptional food offerings
- **Working Conditions**_
- Manual dexterity required
- Required to bend, stand/walk for long periods of time during shift
- Lift, carry or handle objects up to 30lbs
- Requires daytime Monday to Friday work to meet business demands
