Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Daycare Supervisor Assistant to join Witte Education. As an Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children. Your responsibilities will include assisting with classroom activities, providing caregiving support, and helping daily centre operation. **Duties**: - Assist with the implementation of daily lesson plans and activities - Supervise and interact with children during playtime, meals, and naptime - Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment - Assist with diaper changes, potty training, and personal hygiene routines - Monitor children's behavior and report any concerns to the Lead Teacher or Director - Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the overall well-being of each child - Engage children in age-appropriate educational activities and promote social skills development - Follow all safety protocols and maintain a secure environment for children - Any duties assigned **Experience**: - Must be registered and a member in good standing in the College of Early Childhood Education - At least 2-5 years experience working in a daycare - Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices - Familiarity with age-appropriate developmental milestones - Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues - Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children - Strong administrative skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and etc. - Excellent understanding of "Child Care and Early Years Act 2014" CCEYA, "How Does Learning Happen?" and ELECT **Salary**: Discuss in person This position is full-time, Monday through Friday.
