Dortmans Bros Barn Equip. is seeking a well-organized, detail-oriented Accounts Payable Assistant to join our fast-paced, high-volume finance team. What You Will Be Doing Accurately and timely reviewing high volume of multi-currency order confirmations and invoices; performing checks and balances; ensuring proper GL coding of transactions. Ensuring orders are accurate and assigned to correct customer and work order; updating all notes to track orders to the correct job Preparing and processing multi-currency cheques Checking vendor statements and answering vendor inquiries. Assisting Administrators, Sales, Managers as required; generating reports; performing routine administrative tasks. Qualifications Needed Experience: 2-3 years related experience required; experience with Multi Site processing preferred; agriculture Industry knowledge considered an asset. Education: Post-secondary education in Finance/Accounting is preferred. Skills: Excellent planning and organization skills with keen attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Strong analytical and mathematical skills. Proactive, confident, professional verbal and written communication skills. Experience working with an ERP System and proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Strong teamwork skills. Characteristics: Flexible and adaptive to change. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, quickly prioritizing individual responsibilities and effectively managing time. About Dortmans Bros. At Dortmans Bros Barn Equip.
