**Position: Landscape Gardener**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Construct and maintain gardens, lawns, and landscaped areas
- Plant, prune, fertilize, weed, and care for trees, shrubs, and perennials
- Operate hand tools, power mowers, tractors, and other landscape equipment
- Lay sod, spread topsoil, and handle nursery stock
- Assist with landscape construction as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including shop and equipment
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Complete daily job tracking paperwork
- Adhere to all company policies and health & safety regulations
- **Opportunities for winter snow removal work**, including plowing, salting, and equipment operation

**Requirements**:

- **1-2 years of experience** in horticulture or landscaping
- Plant knowledge, especially trees, shrubs, and perennials
- Physically fit, able to lift **50 lbs repeatedly**
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license (**required**)
- Horticulturist or Lawn Gardener Trade Certification (**an asset**)
- **Snow removal experience is an asset**
- Computer skills (**an asset**)

**Work Conditions**:

- Outdoor work in **various weather conditions**
- Exposure to heavy equipment and moving vehicles
