We're now looking to expand our team and are in need of an experienced **Sub Prime Finance Manager** to join our growing family
**Role Overview**:
As the Sub Prime Finance Manager, you will be a key player in building and managing a dynamic team pod that will drive the success of our finance department. Your role will involve working directly with customers to secure financing solutions, building relationships with financial institutions, and training and mentoring a dedicated finance team. You will help us offer tailored financing options for individuals with less-than-perfect credit and ensure a seamless, customer-centric process.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Manage and build a high-performing subprime finance team (Pod).
- Work closely with customers to understand their unique financial needs and provide personalized financing solutions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with multiple banks and lending institutions.
- Ensure that all financing is processed in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Supervise the team in developing proposals, and close deals efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Track and report on team performance, and identify areas for improvement and growth.
- Lead and train your team in financing best practices, policies, and compliance.
- Help to optimize the sales process and contribute to achieving monthly and annual sales targets.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience in automotive finance, specifically in subprime financing.
- Experience in managing and building a team.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- In-depth knowledge of financing products, terms, and loan structures.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.
- A strong understanding of lending criteria and credit profiles.
- Previous dealership experience is an asset, but not required.
