Reports to: General Manager & FOH Manager

A Front of House Lead ensures that all base-line daily operations in the FOH are maintained to company standards. A Front of House Lead must be available to work any scheduled shift within hours of operation and maintain flexibility for scheduling for business needs. 

**Responsibilities**:

- Supporting all the FOH daily operations; achieving the objective established by the General Manager by implementing decisions on every shift.
- Provide an excellent guest experience by exceeding guests' expectations of sincerity, friendliness, and willingness to please
- Maintain up-to-date working knowledge of menu items, including allergy restrictions, while ensuring staff are following the allergy protocol procedure
- Ensure guest complaints/concerns are addressed promptly and respectfully.
- Ensure safe food handling procedures are followed
- Assisting in the training of all FOH staff
- Overseeing that all cleaning checklists are completed, ensuring a welcoming, safe, and sanitized facility
- Ensuring all FOH equipment is clean and in good working order and that any issues are communicated
- Providing feedback to the GM and FOH Manager on FOH employee performance and equipment
- Ensure safe food handling procedures are followed
- Acting as Manager on Duty when required
- Ensure clear communication to employees and document when concerning any HR related situations
- Providing feedback to the FOH manager on FOH employee performance and equipment
- Assisting FOH manager with ordering, inventory and FOH audits
- Completing daily cash reconciliation (in the absence of GM and FOH Manager)
- Communicating all issues outside of their scope of responsibility to the GM
- Always ensuring confidentiality and protection of all employee information
- Ensuring that all employees are provided a work environment that is safe and free of any and all harassment
- Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Maintaining SmartChoices certification
- Excellent coaching and team-building skills
- Experience in the FOH of a fast-paced restaurant
- Excellent communication skills - listening, verbal & written
- Outstanding organization and coordination skills
- Ability to be proactive in challenging situations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Open and flexible availability

Compensation and Benefits may include:

**Salary**: From $16.00 per hour
