Our **Client**, **Moonfleet Poultry** in **Harriston, ON** is looking for a qualified and resourceful **Human Resources Generalist** to support in ensuring smooth and efficient business operations. As an HR Generalist, you will play a critical role in various HR functions, including administration, regulatory compliance, recruitment, onboarding, payroll, employee relations, and training and development.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute HR programs including, but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; training and development; and attendance management.
- Assist with all internal and external HR related matters
- Participate in developing organizational HR policies, programs and resources
- Train and provide guidance regarding HR policies, programs and resources
- Manage occupational and non-occupational claims and the return-to-work process
- Support the foreign worker program
- Provide support and act as backup for payroll processing
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in HR, talent management, and employment law

- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Prior knowledge or experience processing payroll (ADP)
- Proficient understanding of employment legislation, WSIB, and OSHA
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

**Education and Experience**:

- College diploma or university degree in Human Resources or a related program; or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive HR Generalist experience
- Payroll (ADP) and claims management experience
- CHRP/CHRL; or pursuing, is considered an asset
