The BAS Technician/Programmer will divide their time between office and field. Requires in-depth knowledge of building automation, HVAC and mechanical systems.

**KEY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Plan and manage the installation & integration of building automation systems and related HVAC & mechanical equipment;
- Collaborate and support field technicians with troubleshooting & repair of BAS and related building equipment;
- Program building automation systems for optimal operation;
- Build and maintain positive and professional long-term relationships with team members, clients, suppliers and stakeholders;
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, policies & procedures.

**EDUCATION AND TRAINING**
- Diploma of Technology OR Journeyman Electrician, plus minimum 5 years related experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 5 years of building automation system experience.
- Reliable Controls BAS knowledge preferred.

**EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS**
- Intermediate to advanced DDC programming and networking skills (required),
- Formal training in BACnet, Reliable Controls (preferred);
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, all related building systems and mechanical equipment (required);
- BAS installation, service and repair experience (preferred);
- Project management experience (preferred);
- Demonstrated ability to foster positive relationships with team members and customers.

Pay: $85,000.00-$106,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required)
