**Position Overview**

The **Repair and Restoration Technician** is responsible for performing high-quality repair and finishing work on residential, commercial, and industrial restoration projects. This role requires demonstrated **skill in**drywall installation and finishing, plaster repair, painting, and basic carpentry**.**

The Technician ensures that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the company’s high standards of craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. Working independently or as part of a team, this role supports the restoration process from start to finish — helping clients restore their properties to pre-loss condition.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Read and interpret **work orders and blueprints** to complete tasks efficiently.
- Perform **drywall installation and finishing**:

- Complete **plaster repairs, painting, and minor carpentry** work such as framing, trim, and door installation.
- Maintain a **safe, clean, and organized worksite** and follow company safety standards.
- Communicate clearly with clients, supervisors, and teammates to ensure quality and timelines are met.
- Any other reasonable duties as assigned.

**What You Bring**:

- High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong basic math skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and respect for safeguarding property and confidential information.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle in accordance with company policy.

**Nice To Have**:

- 1+ years of experience within the construction, restoration or insurance industry;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite;
- Understanding of customer service principles and practices; and
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of professionalism

**Working Conditions**
- Due to the nature of our business, this position will work normal business hours but may be required to work in the evenings, on-call, or outside normal working hours;
- Perform tasks requiring mobility in tight or confined spaces, sustained physical activity (standing, lifting, walking, bending, kneeling), and working at heights over 5 feet as needed;
- Manual dexterity for keyboarding, repetitive tasks, and prolonged periods of computer use, demanding attention to detail and high levels of accuracy; and
- Periodic travel may be required.
