Belleville, Canada Sigma Stretch Film The Industry Leader Full time

The Quality Tech position at Sigma is responsible for insuring that all films produced meet or exceed product specifications.

Sigma has a well defined system for managing quality and insuring product consistency throughout production runs.

It is the responsibility of the Quality Tech to insure these measures are not only followed but also conform to posted standards.

This is accomplished by collecting and entering data on operator performed tests, as well as conducting random sampling throughout the shift.

Additionally, Quality Techs very proper equipment set-up and calibration of various process stages.

Quality techs are responsible for insuring all returned product is inspected, properly categorized, and dis-positioned.

Information regarding quality testing on finished goods and returned product is conveyed to the Plant Manager and will sometimes require working as part of a team to develop a corrective action plan.

Quality Techs are also responsible for maintenance of collected data and retention samples.

Experience is an asset.

Hours of work are afternoons 4:00 Pm to 12:00 Am.

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
