- Check links and content prior to the start of the course, update resources as needed, communicate with students regularly, mark assignments, monitor student progress, provide timely and constructive feedback, manage and review exam submissions as required, finalize official grades.

Create an outline for the day, submit packing list to lab, prepare the room and supplies prior to the start time and cleanup afterwards, teach and demonstrate related skills, provide scenarios and answer student’s questions, complete performance skill testing as required, submit any required paperwork to Continuing Education.- QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE**Description**

**Required Qualifications**
- Graduate of an accredited Level II Dental Assisting Program.
- Current License to practice Dental Assisting in Saskatchewan.
- Graduate of an Amalgam Restoration Module.
- Min. 2 years recent and relevant (2 years within the last 5 years) dental assisting experience in a dental office.
- Comprehensive knowledge of current amalgam insertion and carving principles and techniques.
- Recent experience in teaching insertion and carving of amalgam skills and/or a recent experience of performing amalgam restorations in a clinical environment.
- Demonstrates valuing diversity.
- Preference will be given to current Saskatchewan Polytechnic faculty.
