GAC is currently seeking an energetic & highly motivated **Machinist** and/or **Apprentice** to join our growing team. If you want to be part of a dynamic, team-oriented environment, GAC is the company for you

**In the role as Machinist or Apprentice you will**:

- Operate conventional Lathes, Milling Machines and Cylindrical Grinders
- Set up jigs, fixtures or machine attachments for precision machining
- Machine in accordance with engineering drawings and tolerances
- Work with calculations, dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring tools
- Work with steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass & copper beryllium.

**Ideal Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in related machinist field
- Post-secondary education and/or **Apprenticeship** Training.
- Proven “hands on” mechanical ability.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Valid driver’s license with own transportation
