Welcome to our Canmore's soon-to-be newest authentic pub We are dedicated to bringing the true spirit and rich tradition of Central European pub culture to our community. We pride ourselves on serving genuine European beers, spirits, and hospitality. We are looking for a passionate, experienced, and charismatic bartender to be the heart and soul of our bar and help us create a truly immersive and welcoming experience for our guests.

**The Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Authentic Service**: Greet guests with genuine friendly and professional manner, offer knowledgeable recommendations on our range of beers and spirits, and engage in conversation to create a vibrant, authentic pub atmosphere.
- **Beverage Mastery**: Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, with a specific focus on proper beer pouring techniques and traditional cocktails/spirits.
- **Customer Engagement**: Assess customer needs, provide excellent customer service, and ensure a memorable experience that keeps guests returning.
- **Bar Operations**: Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, including washing glassware, preparing garnishes, and managing inventory.
- **Compliance**: Verify identification to ensure responsible alcohol service and adherence to all local liquor laws and regulations.
- **Cash Handling**: Accurately manage cash and credit card transactions using our POS system and balance receipts at the end of your shift.
- **Teamwork**: Collaborate effectively with kitchen and floor staff to ensure prompt and seamless service for all guests.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Language**: Must speak English to effectively communicate with diverse clientele and staff, share cultural knowledge, and handle operations efficiently.
- **Experience**: Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment, preferably with a background in traditional pubs or an establishment with a strong cultural focus.
- **Product Knowledge**: Strong knowledge of beer styles, spirits, and general mixology is highly valued.
- **Soft Skills**: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and multitasking skills. Must be reliable, a team player, and able to work well under pressure during busy shifts.
- **Physical Stamina**: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift cases of supplies (up to 50 lbs), and move quickly and efficiently in a bustling environment.
- **Legal**: Must be of legal drinking age and possess any required local permits or certifications (e.g., ProServe in Alberta).
