**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Assist chefs and cooks with food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables, measuring ingredients, and assembling dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
- Ensure that workstations are organized and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Help with inventory management by restocking items as needed.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Support the team during meal service by delivering food to designated areas and assisting with plating as required.
- Participate in cleaning tasks at the end of shifts, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights as needed.
- Knowledge of basic food safety practices is preferred but can be taught on the job.
