We are looking for a full-time **Billing and Accounting Clerk **with 2-3 years of experience, preferably within a law firm. Reporting to the Accounting and Assistant Accounting Managers, some of the Billing and Accounting Clerk responsibilities include but are not limited to: assisting with billing weekly for consultations and hourly files, assisting the AR team monthly with the collections process and coordinating with clients monthly, helping the accounting team with banking reconciliations for both general and trust, processing payments for clients on a daily basis, and processing trust charts daily during non-billing periods.
- Post-secondary education or diploma, with a focus on accounting or similar program;
- A minimum of 2 years experience in billing and general accounting, preferably in a law firm setting;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Good initiative;
- The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, busy environment;
- Strong organizational skills; and,
- The ability to adapt quickly and work with all members of the firm.

Samfiru Tumarkin LLP is in a hybrid working model. As a requirement for remote working, you will need:
