Duties & Responsibilities - Clean and service assigned rooms and areas according to established standards and procedures including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, removing trash etc. - Clean all public spaces including back of the house areas as assigned - Follow all safety and security procedures and regulations - Handle and store chemicals in line with hotel regulations - Be aware of and ensure adherence to the Hotel’s policy regarding security of bedrooms and master keys - Ensure the correct handling of lost guest property in accordance with Hotel Procedures - Report all necessary maintenance issues to Maintenance Department - Deal with guest requests in a courteous, prompt, and professional manner - Work and communicate in a professional and ethical manner with colleagues assisting where necessary to develop team spirit and to achieve standards of work and guest care as required by Hotel policy - Maintain standards of punctuality, uniform and personal hygiene - Clean all public areas - Stocking amneties and linens - Clean and stock glasses - Perform additional duties as assigned or directed by management (laundry,etc.)
