**Associate Pastor**

The Montreal Chinese Presbyterian Church is a multicultural and multigenerational congregation with a core base of mostly English-speaking young families who are actively engaged in the ministries of the church. We are in search of an associate pastor to work with our minister to shepherd these English-speaking members. We are currently looking for an associate pastor for our English ministry.

FULL TIME / PART-TIME

**Responsibilities**
- Preaching
- Pastoral care/shepherding

**Qualifications**
- A person of faith, prayer, vision, and integrity who maintains a close relationship with God
- Strong biblical knowledge
- 2 years or more of ministry experience preferable, with a minimum of. or equivalent from an accredited seminary
- A willingness to come under leadership and to lead with humility
- A team player who functions well within group leadership
- Adaptive capacity and comfortable with change
- Good understanding of North American culture
- Fluent in English; ability to speak French or Chinese an asset
- Background check required prior to employment
