Reports to Finance Director
**Responsibilities**:
- Agency bill and direct bill accounts, follow up on discrepancies
- Reconcile payment of general vendor accounts, bank statements.
- Review, update and reconcile day to day accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger accounting
- Complete monthly revenue spreadsheet analysis for all producer codes.
- Prepare monthly RIBO form. Trust account calculations CAD & USD
- Account receivable and account payable reconciliation.
- Bank reconciliation.
- Posting journal entries.
- Ad HOC reports.
- Reconcile insurance carrier and broker accounts.
**Key Competencies**:
- Ability to commute to the office located in Burlington, Ontario, Canada (hybrid set-up)
- 1-3 years of Bookkeeping experience required
- Understanding and usage of a company operating system or broker management system.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High energy, organized, self-starter
- Strong work ethic, goal oriented
- Collaborative team player
- Advanced level of comfort with technology, including all MS Office products
