We provide a unique way to experience an expanded clinical scope of practice while enjoying an adventure at the same time Average assignment durations vary from 2 to 6 weeks. **The work you will do**: - Paramedics will primarily work in clinic-based environments and perform an expanded role in these communities, providing primary and emergency care to all residents -from newborn to elders -through a nursing station / Health Center in a clinic atmosphere - Health Promotion, Assessments, support and implementing care using Best Practice Clinical Practice Guidelines; primary care and emergency care - Working as part of a care-team with nurses in a clinic with urgent/non‐urgent walk‐ins, similar to a walk‐in clinic here as well as primary care follow ups, similar to you going to your doctor’s office for a prescription/test/follow‐up on a condition. They also serve as ER in communities with no ER. - Acute and primary care - Ability to think & react quickly and prioritize patient needs. No physicians on site.
