Azure System Administrator

**Position Overview (Français à suivre)**

**Role and Responsibilities**:

- Deploy, provision, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure components
- Ability to translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and reliable cloud solutions.
- Perform regular management and administration tasks for all cloud services including upgrades, patching, backups, restores, troubleshooting, and issue remediation.
- Contribute to disaster recovery planning, implementation, and testing activities.
- Work closely with our external consultants to maintain PCI 4.0 and above compliance.
- Provide technical guidance and support to development teams regarding secure architecture principles, API management strategies, and implementation best practices.
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and security best practices are implemented.
- Create and manage automation scripts and workflows using PowerShell or Python.
- Implement monitoring, alerting and performance analysis solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues in the Azure environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to Azure services, network connectivity, and automation workflows.
- Implement security measures and best practices to ensure data protection and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Monitor and manage access controls, identity and access management (IAM), and network security groups (NSGs) in Azure.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation actions.
- Record, troubleshoot, escalate, and follow-up with end-users regarding IT support matters.
- Install and deploy workstations, tablets, cell phones, and other IT technology to users.
- Maintain complete and service tickets and documentation of work completed.
- After-hours end user, network, and IT infrastructure support when required.
- Perform other related projects and duties as assigned.

**Experience**
- Minimum 8 Years’s experience in System Administration. Mixture of on-premises and Azure system administration
- Must have completed an Azure cloud migration from on-premises.
- Must have Working knowledge of enterprise security frameworks and standards (e.g., OSFI, NIST, ISO 27001).
- Must have experience working in JIRA / Confluence
- Must have experience working in a PCI environment and have completed a migration from 3.2 to 4.0.
- Must have experience with centralized logging and tools such as Splunk, Sumologic and Sentinel.
- Demonstrated experience configuring / deploying secure, scalable and high-availability solutions in Azure.
- Demonstrated experience on Azure networking.
- Working experience integrating an agile team.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell.
- Experience working in a FinTech, payments, finance or banking organization is an asset.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

**Rôle et responsabilités**:

- Travailler en étroite collaboration avec nos consultants externes pour maintenir la conformité PCI 4.0 et plus.
- Fournir des conseils techniques et un soutien aux équipes de développement en ce qui concerne les principes d'architecture sécurisée, les stratégies de gestion des API et les meilleures pratiques de mise en œuvre.
- Veiller à la mise en œuvre de la haute disponibilité, de la reprise après sinistre et des meilleures pratiques en matière de sécurité.
- Créer et gérer des scripts d'automatisation et des flux de travail à l'aide de PowerShell ou de Python.
- Mettre en œuvre des solutions de surveillance, d'alerte et d'analyse des performances afin d'identifier et de résoudre de manière proactive les problèmes dans l'environnement Azure.
