**Your opportunity**:
As a Network Analyst, you will support the fundamental underpinnings of one of the most critical IT services, networking. You will be the responsible for day to day operations while supporting and monitoring the campus wired and wireless infrastructure. Working closely with the networking team, while reporting to the Manager, Networking and Telecommunications, you will be responsible for providing on-site troubleshooting and diagnostics, creating documentation, conducting wireless surveys, recommending andassisting with implementation of changes to the network infrastructure. Your proven focus on solutions, and customer service mindset, will allow you to own the wired and wireless client experience on campus, and be an instrumental part of the IITS, Networking Team, supporting mission critical connectivity services.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Troubleshooting complex computer system problems
- Planning components of projects
- Probing for information to establish needs
- Creating complex and technical documentation and user support guides
- Directing a small group in a limited area, including responsibility for scheduling and/or workflow

**Essential Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of related experience supporting a high-volume, client-centric, heterogeneous network environment
- Demonstrated experience managing vendors, tier-3 escalation and manufacturer support tickets
- Strong experience troubleshooting of wireless issues across a range of endpoints, including MacOS, Windows, Android, iOS, and others
- Familiarity with layer 2 and 3 network protocols, including STP, IPv4, IPv6, ISIS, OSPF, BGP, and others
- Demonstrated ability to review and write technical documentation and create diagrams
- Knowledge of the command line interface for network equipment
- Ability to use tools like Windows/Powershell, Linux/Bash, or python for task automation
- Must have communication skills; both verbally and in writing. Must be able to communicate technical requirements to vendors and contractors.
