**Job Title: Assistant Director - Early Childhood Education Program**
**Location: Calgary**
Clever Daycare is looking for an **Assistant Director** to join one of its branches. This role is responsible for the smooth functioning of all aspects of the Centre and requires expertise in program planning and strong leadership abilities.
**Qualifications**:
- Degree in Early Childhood Education or Childcare Supervisor Certificate (**Level 3**)**:Required**:
- Minimum three years of **supervisory**experience in childcare
- Early Childhood administration and program supervisory experience
- Proficiency in children's development, organizational policies, and human resources procedures
- Strong professionalism and enthusiasm for serving children and families
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Infant/Child CPR and First Aid certification
**Responsibilities**:
- Ensure smooth operation of the childcare centre to best serve children and families.
- Maintain compliance with Alberta licensing requirements and program plans.
- Manage documentation for health, safety, and licensing.
- Foster positive relationships with parents and mediate conflicts.
- Manage attendance records, activity planning, and events.
- Collaborates with marketing and sales to maximize centre capacity by handling tours, registrations, waitlist management, and timely space filling.
- Coordinate staff scheduling and recruitment processes.
- Provide supervision, leadership, and support to centre staff.
- Collaborate with the management team and/or centre director and perform the duties assigned accordingly.
Pay: From $52,000.00 per year
