Overhead Door

We are Northern Dock Systems, a National leader in installations and maintenance of Overhead & Specialty Doors, Loading Dock Systems and HVLS (high-volume low speed) fans.

Due to remarkable growth in British Columbia we are currently looking for Overhead Door and Dock Technicians - Junior and Leads - for permanent positions.

**A competitive base hourly rate is offered and commensurate with experience.**

**Responsibilities**

As an Overhead Door and Dock Technician, your responsibilities will include:

- Complete installation, field service, preventive maintenance and repair of loading dock, overhead door, commercial door equipment while on site
- Work with coordinators for parts requirements, scheduling, and technical support
- Maintain adequate stock levels of required parts on trucks - identify and report when quantities are low and require re-ordering.
- Maintain company truck in clean, organized and safe manner
- Complete required forms and PMP checklists in a timely and appropriate fashion.
- Complete ongoing required training to ensure you are able to perform your duties in a safe manner. Demonstrate proper safety procedures and product knowledge

**Qualifications**
- Ideally have commercial dock and door industry experience or exposure
- Must be highly proficient with hand and power tools and committed to working in a safe manner
- Sound mechanical and electrical knowledge is a must and must be supported by working experience and training credentials
- Valid driver’s license with clean abstract
