This position works out of a customer facility in Pickering, Ontario. You will be working with a team of O.P.D.I. employees and our customer's employees.

This facility operates 24 hours a day, 6 days a week, 7 days a week for the day shift.

**We are currently hiring for day shift on Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.**

**About the Company**:*

O.P.D.I. has operated as solely family-owned venture for over 50 years and has been providing high quality potatoes across Ontario. O.P.D.I. now offers a wide range of services including:

- Potato packing, storage and distribution
- Logistics and transport
- Offloading services
- Quality assurance

**Position Overview**:*
- General labour with a major food chain offloading and building/separating pallets
- Re-lumping pallets, unloading containers, cutting plastic off pallets
- Responsible for ensuring that the dock floor is kept clean and free of debris. Ensure that all plastic, ties, strapping, cardboard is off the floor, not hanging from pallets, and is disposed of
- Completing lumping worksheets
- Assisting receivers as needed
- Advise Supervisor/Management of non-conformities e.g. pests, leaks, damaged product/packaging, tipping loads, etc.
