**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide patient care including medication administration and health monitoring as directed by healthcare professionals
- Support meal preparation and feeding for clients with specific dietary needs
- Help with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive atmosphere
- Assist with mobility and transfer of patients using proper techniques for heavy lifting when necessary
- Document care provided and report any changes in health status to supervising staff
- Support clients with dementia or cognitive impairments through specialized caregiving techniques
- Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

**Qualifications**
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, home care, or hospice care preferred
- Knowledge of patient care practices including medication administration and dementia care
- Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with mobility needs
- Strong communication skills and compassionate nature
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Certification in caregiving or relevant training is a plus but not required
- Must be reliable, patient-focused, and committed to providing high-quality care
