Our mission of "Empowering YOU to be YOU, one outfit at a time" is brought to life through the GARAGE and DYNAMITE banners and represents the consumer-centric core of GDI's long-standing success as a leading retailer in North America. **Job Summary**: We are looking for a Business Analyst (BA) whose main focus will be to work on Distribution/Global Logistics projects relating to WMS. The BA’s role will consist in understanding the supply chain business vision and working with stakeholders in developing and implementing an innovative roadmap of initiatives. The BA we are looking for has a strong Distribution Centre background coupled with technical knowledge and an understanding of WMS systems. **Main Responsibilities**: - Be a key contributor to solution design regarding WMS to ensure alignment with organizational initiatives; - Participate in the upgrade of our WMS to its latest version; - Analyze and understand the upstream and downstream technical implications of any changes being proposed to accurately assess impacts to systems; - Participate in the definition and execution of technical implementation for designed specifications; - Actively participate in the definition of test strategies and scenarios to support test execution with the QA team and business stakeholders; - Troubleshoot any technical issues and work with third party support to ensure timely and efficient resolution. **Qualifications**: - Be proficient in both technical and functional aspects of WMS (Manhattan Scale is a +); - Have technical expertise in SQL and integrations (API is a +); - Have Project Management experience; - Having done a WMS upgrade project is a +; - Have an excellent understanding of the integration of the people, processes, and technology needed to implement change; - Be able to partner with various teams to coordinate and prioritize projects and initiatives; - Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills; - Bilingualism (French and English) is required for daily communication with suppliers, employees, and stakeholders, both within and outside of Quebec. **Preferred Skills**: - Have experience in a retail organization; - Are able to thrive in a high-growth and fast-paced workplace; - Easily and comfortably challenge the status quo by contributing impactful ideas and solutions.
