**The Opportunity**:
Red River Co-op (RRC) is recruiting for the position of **IT Business Analyst **at our home office located at **10 Prairie Way **, in **Winnipeg **. This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer **.**

Essential responsibilities of the position include the following:

- Be the liaison between technical staff and stakeholders to understand the business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Responsible for managing projects, including identification of risks and issues, as well as proposed mitigation strategies.
- Oversee the delivery of service by third-party IT support services, resolving issues as they arise.
- Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing business systems as part of a continuous improvement strategy; recommend and implement improvements as appropriate.
- Assist with the development of various project documents and project deliverables including project proposals, business cases, business requirements documents, and business process flows.
- In conjunction with third party service provider, recommend practical alternative solutions to a wide range of complex business problems while ensuring any potential issues are identified, tracked, and resolved.
- Develop an IT training plan and coordinate the delivery of the training material, including tracking completion.
- Coordinate security related activities (Example: Penetration Testing, Maturity Threat Analysis).
- Responsible for evaluating recommendations received through the third-party assessments, and creating and executing a plan to address any GAPs identified.
- Support change management activities.
- Develop and standardize documentation for internal key IT functions.
- Coordinate Disaster Recovery testing activities with relevant technical resources within the business.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to provide innovative insights and recommendations.

**About You**:
To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and competencies:

- University degree or college diploma in a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an analyst.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups, managers, and ability to negotiate effectively to manage project deliverables.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Comfort dealing with ambiguity and multiple stakeholders and priorities.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, demanding and rapidly changing environment.
- The individual must be detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and results-oriented, be diligent and work with a sense of urgency
- Strong critical and analytical skills; and
- You are motivated, flexible and possess a strong work ethic.
