We are looking for both Class 1 and Class 3 drivers to haul material in and around HRM - local runs only so you will be home for dinner every night

Successful applicants must have:

- Class 1 or 3 License with Air Brake Endorsement
- Good Driver's Abstract & Valid Driver’s License
- Positive attitude & Commitment to safety
- Availability to work flexible hours
- Capability of performing physically demanding work
- Above Average Record keeping skills

The following would be considered an asset:

- Knowledge of HRM & surrounding areas
- WHMIS / First Aid

General

**Responsibilities**:

- To arrive on time for each scheduled shift - Notification to a supervisor is required if you are not able to make it to work that day.
- Pre-trip inspections performed each day, before starting your shift (Generally 6:30am - 6:45am).
- Complete all paperwork requirements - Both DOT log book and Work Order Book (If applicable) are to be passed in daily at the end of each shift.
- Operate truck in safe and secure manner at ALL times.
- Keep their truck, and associated equipment, clean and in good working order. Grease weekly.
- Report mechanical problems to the mechanic
- Check tires when leaving site for obstructions between the tires.

Schedule:
Monday to Friday - 6:30 am - 5:00 pm (with occasional late nights)

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour - Depending on experience, performance and reliability
