We are looking for **Delivery Truck Drivers who hold valid DZ license **to work out of our **Thunder Bay, ON branch **who strive for high levels of customer service, teamwork, and efficiencies. We take pride in our fill rates, accuracy, and safety records. Following set delivery routes and delivering product orders to retail environments each day with high customer service levels. Come join our family company, where we pride ourselves on our "**_ONLY AS A TEAM_**" culture **This is not your typical truck-driving job. 70% of your workday is spent unloading and delivering products to our customers while 30% of the shift is spent driving and operating newer model company-owned vehicles.** **Requirements**: - Current and valid DZ License - Recent and satisfactory driver CVOR/abstract - Will be required at interview - Minimum 2 years of recent heavy truck driving experience required - Travelling outside of Thunder Bay and overnight stays may be required where necessary. **_*Majority of runs are done locally*_**: - Be able to lift heavy items (up to 50lb rarely) as this job entails delivery to various sites with pallet jacks and dollies **Responsibilities**: - Safe, efficient, and productive deliveries and pickups each day - Direct Store Deliveries using Newer model leased automatic units - Accurate counts in loading trucks each day and following established delivery routes to deliver products to retail store environments. - High focus on safety. - Perform pre and post-trip inspections. - Electronic Logbook compliance. - High level of customer service by building relationships with customers on each route to help their needs - Comply with all company policies and procedures regarding the delivery of goods. - Will train all delivery aspects of the job **Shifts**: - Various Shifts are Available including: - Monday through Friday 7:00 am - 4:00 p - Monday through Thursday 10:00 pm - 8:00 am - Shifts may rotate week to week with scheduled notice of an upcoming week **What we offer**: - *Employer PAID Benefits Starting on your First Day* - Safety vest provided upon hire date and added yearly footwear allowance - Company events such as BBQs, Teammate appreciation awards, Service Awards, and monthly prize draws, just to name a few Come join the fun - Career growth opportunities through our training grant program - Free parking at our branch - ONLY AS A TEAM Environment **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: From $25.00 per hour **Benefits**: - Company events - Dental care - Disability insurance - Discounted or free food - Employee assistance program - Extended health care - Life insurance - On-site parking - Wellness program Schedule: - 10 hour shift - 8 hour shift - Overtime Supplemental pay types: - Overtime pay Work Location: One location
