Parts SpecialistOverview:Join our team as a Parts Specialist and play a vital role in our company's operations. We are looking for a dedicated individual with a strong background in customer service, mechanical knowledge, and supply chain management. As a Parts Specialist, you will be responsible for efficiently sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing parts to support our maintenance and repair needs.Responsibilities:
- Utilize demand planning to ensure adequate inventory levels of parts
- Source and procure parts from various suppliers while maintaining cost-effectiveness
- Collaborate with the service team to understand part requirements
- Negotiate pricing and contracts with vendors to optimize cost savings
- Maintain accurate records of parts inventory using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
- Coordinate with logistics for timely delivery of parts
- Utilize equipment as needed for handling parts safelySkills:
- Strong customer service skills to interact effectively with vendors and internal teams
- Proficiency in negotiating prices and terms with suppliers
- Mechanical knowledge to understand technical specifications of parts
- Experience in demand planning to forecast part needs accurately
- Familiarity with supply chain processes to streamline part sourcing and procurement
- Ability to use CMMS software for inventory management
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $16.55-$29.55 per hour
Expected hours: 42.5 per week
